Spread Love 🤎

Hey! It’s #FaceitFridayswithDalya!

No long blog post today, well maybe a little🤣. It’s been a crazy, busy couple of weeks, but I just want to give you something to ponder going into your weekend.

I received a call yesterday from someone I don’t talk to often, but I do consider a friend. When I answered they were upset and simply asked me to pray for them. I replied take a deep breath. What’s going on? She explained a few things that were happening. I sat there in silence, just listening. Allowing her to share without interruption. Sometimes people just need you to be there. Just be present. After I listened, I asked a few questions. What I offered her was to think about what is going well? What is good in your life. Let’s focus on that. I told her that she was going to get through this because we serve a good Father who’s desire is to see us prosper, even as our souls prosper. He wants to give us hope and a future and not harm us.

I prayed with her. We talked some more. I asked her if she felt better. She said she did. I told her I’d call her back on FaceTime so she could see @thatdood.dylan. Dogs always bring us joy! We talked about him for a bit, which made her laugh.

I was humbled and grateful by her call yesterday. It took courage for her to reach out to me and I don’t ever take any opportunity to pray for someone lightly.

Life is hard. If it’s not hard for you now, it’s been hard before (Praise break , because you’re still here💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾) and it may get hard for you one day. Feel free to testify in the comments. It might encourage someone today!

Be there for people. Extend grace and pray for them. We’re all a work in progress.

Let’s continue #NormalizingHardConversations and work through them together. We need each other. We weren’t created to go through life alone. Community is important and imperative. 🙏🏽🤎

Happy Friday y’all!

Have an amazing Weekend!
